iPhone 4G hardware is capable of capturing 720 pixel HD video? This was released earlier this month by the iPhone OS Software Development Kit (SDK). The media capture preset values in the latest SDK updates lists two modes, one is AVCaptureSessionPreset 640x480 and the other is AVCaptureSessionPreset 1280x720.
